Hanoi (VNA) – A virtual book fair and exhibition is underway at www.book265.vn to mark the 110th year since President Ho Chi Minh left Vietnam to go on a journey around the world to look for ways to save his nation (June 5, 1911).

Launched on June 4, the event is held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in partnership with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Using advanced technology, the exhibition displays an array of valuable publications and archives telling stories about the late president’s life and career throughout eight sections.

The fair, meanwhile, showcases a large number of high-quality books to meet demand of readers.

The fair also features a series of webinars and live webcast for writers, translators, scholars and publishers to directly interact with readers.
 
The event will run through June 15./.
