Given the complicated developments of crimes, the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps has been set up to strengthen the fighting capacity for mobile police forces. The force can be used for patrolling and controlling unruly demonstrations, especially in areas where normal vehicles cannot be used. The force will fight crime, patrol and engage in rescues in mountainous areas, as well as maintain security in cities. The cavalries could also transport weapons and food to remote areas, as well as participating in governmental ceremonies and receiving international heads of state. They would also participate in international competitions to gain experience. Officials and soldiers of the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps promised to be absolutely loyal to the Party, Fatherland and people as well as willing to sacrifice themselves to protect the country’s security, social order, safety and happiness of people. The mounted police force, which will operate under the Mobile Police Force Command of the Ministry of Public Security, was formed in early 2020. The force will directly train and utilize horses to fight crime, and take care of the team, including breeding new members. This is one of the activities included in the plan prepared by the Mobile Police Command from several days; organized the Mobile Cavalry Police Division to march and report the results to the National Assembly deputies at the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly.
