Hanoi (VNA) – With more than 70 activities over the course of only five days, the European trip of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has demonstrated the activeness and responsibility of the NA, while contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnam in the world arena.

Speaking to the media on the freshly-ended visit, NA General Secretary and Chairman of the NA Office Bui Van Cuong underlined the outcomes of the visit in various aspects of political, economic, vaccine and cultural diplomacy.

According to Cuong, meetings held within the visit contributed to fostering and enhancing both the overall external relations and the parliamentary ties between Vietnam and other countries.

The meetings helped urge EU countries to accelerate the consideration and ratification of the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). They also resulted in  the signing of agreements on production of SARS-CoV-2 test kits and vaccines in Vietnam.
