Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong attended the 2021 conference of the Central Public Security Party Committee on December 20.
Addressing the event, General Secretary Trong stressed that 2021 is a very difficult year, but also a year that the public security sector could be proud of.
The Ministry of Public Security has tried the best to continue improving its organizational structure, actively and effectively participated in the fight against corruption, and well maintained political security, social order and safety, he noted.
In the coming time, the ministry should be more drastic and effective in preventing and combating corruption, especially for cases which are sensitive, complicated, prolonged that cause frustration among the public, Trong stressed.
The Central Public Security Party Committee is one among the first ministerial Party Committees to implement and bring the Resolution of 13th Party Congress to life./.
