Hanoi (VNA) – Head of the Party
Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung held a
working session in Hanoi on October 19 with heads of Vietnamese
representative agencies abroad who were appointed for the 2021-2024 tenure this year.
He talked with them about Vietnam’s external work
and orientations to improving its efficiency in the pillars of Party’s external
relations, State and people-to-people diplomacy, towards performing the external policy
set by the 13th National Party Congress.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung expressed appreciation to close
and effective coordination between the Party
Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations and the Foreign Ministry
over the past years.
He affirmed that chiefs of Vietnamese representative agencies
will fulfil their assigned tasks.
Participants at the event also discussed ways to
continue bolstering ties between political parties and people’s organisations
in countries in the near future./.
