PM requests efforts to prevent corruption in institution building

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 16 chaired a Government’s meeting to seek measures to better the work of institution building and perfecting.

The PM stressed that the building of institution must be made in line with the Party's policies and the Constitution. It should focus on building a law-governed socialist State, completing socialist-oriented market economy institutions, and strengthening international integration.

At the event, leaders of ministries, sectors and localities discussed the fundamental principles in the work, while assessing achievements and lessons in the field.

Concluding the conference, the Government leader stressed the need to speed up decentralisation in association with the bearing of responsibility as well as the close supervision, inspection and control of power.

It is necessary to fight corruption, negative phenomenon and vested interest in the process, he added./.
