The success of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will be a strong and firm political guarantee for the development of socialism in Vietnam and provide a new driving force for the country’s socio-economic development, said Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo.

Vietnamese expatriates in Germany have had faith in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) in the past and hope that the successful organisation of the 13th National Party Congress will help the country enter a new stage of development.

The 13th National Party Congress, scheduled to take place in Hanoi from January 25 to February 2, is attracting attention both in Vietnam and around the world, as it will mark an important milestone in setting out orientations for the country’s reforms, integration and development in the time ahead.

Defence diplomacy is not only an external task of the Ministry of National Defence or the army but also associated with national independence, sovereignty, and interests of Vietnam, as well as security and peace in the region and the world.
