An exhibition was opened at the Museum of Military Region 9 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on April 28, giving visitors an insight into late President Ho Chi Minh’s role in the elections of the National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils in history.
An exhibition is underway in Hanoi introducing more than 100 photos of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, leader, and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The documentary centre of the Russian News Agency TASS has a huge collection of photos taken over the course of a century, including those showing the country’s relations with other countries. Vietnam News Agency correspondents also found precious photos of Vietnam at the centre.
A special programme entitled Ho Chi Minh - Sang Ngoi Y Chi Viet Nam (Ho Chi Minh – Viet Nam Will Shine Bright) was broadcasted live at five locations, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Nghe An and Dong Thap on May 18.
A ceremony was held at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on May 18 to mark the 130th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2020).
