The committee called for a streamlined, efficient government focused on serving citizens and enhanced dialogues with businesses and people to remove their bottlenecks in a timely fashion, he said, adding it laid stress on the significance of power-controlled mechanisms among legislative, executive and judicial bodies to ensure a professional, modern, and integrity-based judicial system to serve the Fatherland and the people.

Quang stated that the committee emphasised building a contingent of capable, ethical, and innovative civil servants, especially at the grassroots level, through incentives and professional training to meet the requirements of the new era.

He expressed his confidence that with sound preparation of the 13th Party Central Committee as well as the dedication and responsibility of the delegations across the nation, the draft political report will be refined, serving as a valuable document to shape up the country’s development path.

Meanwhile, Director of the municipal Department of Finance Nguyen Ngoc Tu said that his department called for clearer evaluation of institutional reform to remove overlapping laws that hinder governance, stronger policies to boost private sector innovation, and updates to science – technology policies in line with the National Assembly’s resolution on special mechanisms for breakthroughs in science – technology and digital transformation.

Given Hai Phong’s ambition to become a regional and international logistics and maritime hub, the department urged continued special mechanisms to develop seaports, logistics, and industrial infrastructure, Tu added./.
