Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 27 evening attended the 16th East Asia Summit (EAS), which gathered leaders of 10 ASEAN member states and their partners, including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India, Russia and the US, and the ASEAN Secretary General.
Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung attended the East Asia Summit (EAS) Senior Officials’ Meeting, held virtually on June 24.
The ASEAN Chairmanship Year 2020 has contributed to effectively implementing the Party’s foreign policy, raising Vietnam’s role and position and helping the country create a firm stance in ASEAN and the region.
