The National Assembly (NA) adopted a resolution on the election of members to the 14th NA’s Standing Committee during its ongoing 11th sitting on the afternoon of April 6.

The plenary meeting of the 14th National Assembly on the second working day of the 11th session (March 25) was broadcast live on national TV and radio.
The 11th meeting of the 14th National Assembly, which began in Hanoi on March 24 morning, will contribute to the end-of-tenure transition in agencies in the State apparatus, NA Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said in her opening remarks.

Talking to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc highlighted the efforts made by the State Audit Office of Vietnam as the Chair of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions to lead the 14th ASOSAI Assembly to adopt the Hanoi Declaration with a meaningful message of “Environmental Audit for Sustainable Development” in 2018.
